    Legal foundations for inspection and testing

    All IBCs are subject to mandatory repeated inspection and testing in intervals of 2 ½ years as of the date of the first (factory) inspection:

     

    Service after 2½ years

    Implemented by a BAM registered servicing body II, according to BAM-GGR 002 – Part B, Paragraph B 1.2.1, B 2.1 and B 3.1

    • Inspection of the external condition
    • Inspection of marking
    • Inspection of the function of the control equipment, i.e. all fittings of the container
    • Leakage test with air with an overpressure of 0.2 bar

     

    Service after 5 years

    Implemented by a BAM registered servicing body I, according to BAM-GGR 002 – Part A, Paragraph A 1.2.1,AB 2.1 and A 3.1

    • To be carried out in addition to the inspection after 2 ½ years:
    • Checking of compliance with the type testing certificate
    • Internal inspection

     

    Potentially required servicing work and installation materials are charged at cost. On request, we will prepare a cost estimate for you in advance.
